Throughout his career, Gary Alexander has established himself as a pragmatic and decisive leader. He has demonstrated great success not only in identifying both small and large scale problems, but also assembling well qualified teams of policy makers and stakeholders to develop high quality data-driven solutions. His leadership strategies have provided extensive results to some of the largest and most complicated challenges within local and state governments.
Gary Alexander began his career working for the state of Rhode Island as a Special Assistant to the Director of the Department of Human Services. Holding this position for eight years, Gary Alexander gained extensive knowledge and experience, drafting legislation and leases and contributing to the success of the state’s involvement in strategic planning, media relations, community affairs, operations management, emergency management, budget development and more.
With all of this valuable experience, Gary Alexander went on to serve as the Secretary of Health and Human Services, first in RI and later in Pennsylvania.
He then continued to expand his services establishing his own firm to advise clients in commercial and state government with resolving issues in the public welfare programs, revenue, and accreditation compliance services. Outside of his professional career, Gary Alexander serves as an ordained deacon in the Armenian Orthodox Church. He is also a dedicated family man who loves spending time with his wife and two children. Some of his personal hobbies and interests include baseball, martial arts, and music.
